Stocks and options. Almost every order-flow course online is futures-first, because futures have one clean data feed. This is built for the fragmented equity market most retail traders actually trade — the tape, Level 2 and Bookmap on liquid names like NVDA and TSLA.
No — you can start with your broker's Time & Sales and Level 2. Bookmap is a powerful add-on layer once you've got the basics, and there's a member offer on it, but it isn't required to learn the method.
